Clinical Pharmacy focuses on
optimizing medication for
more effective treatment
of existing medical
conditions, promoting
health and preventing
drug interaction.
Clinical pharmacists
are experts in the therapeutic use of,medications.
They routinely provide medication therapy evaluations
and recommendations to patients and healthcare professionals. Clinical pharmacists are a primary source
of information and advice regarding the safe, appropriate and cost effective use of medications.
Upon the request from your nurse or physician our staff
Clinical Pharmacist will review all current medications.
Special emphasis will be placed on drug interaction,
therapeutic dosing and pain management issues.
Recommendations will then be made to your nurse or physician as needed. Changes made to medication and dosage will be monitored and periodically reviewed for effectiveness.
